Dress Code:
Tops: Solid white or blue (navy or light) shirts/blouses with collar, long or short sleeved. White or navy sweaters during colder months. No logos or writing. Bottoms: Solid navy blue or khaki color pants, skirts, shorts or jumpers. Pants must not drag the ground. Skirts, shorts and jumpers should be knee length. No jeans, jogging suits or sweats. No logos or writing. Shoes: Dress shoes or sneakers. Closed toe and less than 1" heel. No wedges, sandals or flip-flops. Socks: White, navy or neutral color socks, hose or tights. No hats, bandanas, sweatbands or wristbands.
Latchkey:
Latchkey is a before and after school care program for elementary students.
Hours of operation during the school year is from 7:00-9:00 AM and 3:30-6:00 PM.

Panda Pride
Panda Pride Promise: I promise to be respectful, be responsible, be ready to learn and be safe and in control.

Panda Pride T-shirts are once again available for purchase at school. Every Friday is Spirit Day!

Olde Orchard students and staff are encouraged to wear their shirts to school during spirit day to show their panda pride!

Clubs:
Chess Club- Students in grades 3-5 may participate in Chess Club. This club meets once per week to practice. Chess teaches problem-solving skills, visualization skills and planning strategies.

Battle of the Books- Students read challenging books and then use their knowledge to compete in a contest of comprehension with other schools from the district.

Invention Convention- This January and February, we will have representatives from Olde Orchard preparing to compete in the district Invention Convention. Students will research a famous inventor, look for an everyday problem and work to solve the problem by planning a new invention.

Student Leadership Team- A select group of 5th graders have the opportunity to display their leadership skills in this community building club. They help organize and carry out many activities for students across every grade.
